Ever wonder what a day in the life of a downtown ‘Bag Girl’ entails? Lucky for us Brooklyn-based photographer Mike Mabes was there to capture on camera what I couldn’t in words! Here’s a photo synopsis of my custom Victoire Focx pieces from concept to conception.

Apologies for my long absence, however, it’s with great glee and diaphanous delight I share the latest and greatest in Victoire Focx news…
March and April were extraordinary months Victoire Focx accessories were featured in a trunk show alongside one-of-a-kind pieces by Mallorcan painter, and jewelry designer, Antonia Maxwell.  Like the Victoire Focx brand, Maxwell produces custom pieces inspired by ornate and antiquated beauty. Also akin to the V.F. dynasty, she specializes leather– particularly necklaces crafted with semi precious stones and sea shells recovered from the depths of the Indian ocean. Antonia Maxwell is one of few designers to be featured in the Reubens Museum. It was both inspiring and delightful working with her during her time in NYC.

And as always, I offer the privilege to vicariously re-live this amazing experience!

Greetings Lady Constance,
It’s been a while since we met at your last trunk show event at the Soho House, but out of sight does not mean out of mind– certainly not for Victore Focx accessories! Two weeks ago I said ”I do” at a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Woodstock, NY; friends, family, clergy and my black lace leather Victore Focx gloves were all present. Yes! I actually paired my “old” black leather gloves–purchased 2 years ago– with my “new” cream lace wedding dress, a beautiful “borrowed” custom hat with a veil attached, and a pair of blue Louboutins studded with Swarovski crystals. It was a visually delectable delight.
Black leather lace gloves are a bit nontraditional when coupled with cream wedding dress, but I’ve never tread the path most traveled. Like my husband and I, they are an odd pairing, but suit each other brilliantly: eccentrically eclectic, but somehow sympatico.
I can only imagine what lovely leather delghtswill adorn you on your wedding day;)

Well, in my long awaited absence, I have been busy designing custom pieces for all of you delightful Victoire-ian ladies of the world, while co-producing fashion/music based events in downtown NYC. Monday October 3rd, 2011 marked the first of these theatrical extravaganzas where fashion and music were merged into a glorious melange of creative expression for the sound and visual showcase titled “That’s My Project”.
The festivities took place at THEATER BAR n Tribeca, and the turnout was most delightful. Three major art mediums were expressed–live concert with Cole Williams, image projection of Victoire Focx accessories, and inter-activity with models/dancers dressed and directed by Constance Victory with Victoire Focx accessories. NYC famed DJ Madisol spun house tunes that kept the crowd on their toes, and off of their chairs. Cole Williams’ performance was fierce as she turned out the crowd in all of her Victoire Focx leather glory. Sleek masked models adorned in head to toe Victoire Focx leather ensembles meandered through the crowd, showcasing Victoire Focx gloves, cuffs, and belts on antique trays to prospective clientele. The turnout? Phenominal. The event? An absolute sucess. As for the crowd…they’re still begging for another heavy dosage of the triad magic.
